Directions

From Portland, Maine:
After traveling south on route 95 from Portland, Maine for one hour, you will see exits for Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Take exit 5 from Route 95 South onto Route 16 North (Spaulding Turnpike).

From Boston, Massachusetts:
After traveling north on Route 95 from Boston, Ma. for one hour, you will see exits for Portsmouth, NH. Take exit 4 from route 95 North onto Route 16 North (Spaulding Turnpike).

Traveling North on Route 16:
Pease Int'l Trade Port will be on your left, the malls on your right. After crossing a bridge, there will be a $.50 toll. From Route 16, exit at 8E/Silver Street. Go straight through 2 lights. (Silver St.) At Third light, (Gulf Gas Station in front of you) turn left onto Central/Stark Ave. A Mobil gas station will be on your right now. At the next light, follow the flow of traffic to your right (Stay in that lane) Smiley's Beverages and a tattoo store will be on your right. Bear right at the Dover Waterfront/Route 4 sign, onto Portland Ave. (formerly Portland St. on map).

Dr. Frangos Optometry is on your right, with blue condos on your left. Take the driveway between the brick columns on the right, IMMEDIATELY after the eye doctor. The building out front is the Schooner House Inn. Follow the sign on the back of the building to check in.

If you come to a 4-way intersection where Philbricks Sports Store and a bank are, you have gone too far!(Oak St. and Portland Ave.)

From the Manchester NH Airport 45-60 minutes
Follow Manchester Airport Exit Signs to the Airport Perimeter Road to Rte 101 East
Travel about 30 minutes to Exit 7 on 101 for Epping/Kingston
Take Exit 7, Turn left onto Rte 125 North, at the end of the ramp
Go 4.1 miles to Route 155, turn right on 155
Go straight through the stop sign at 1.2 miles
The road will fork at 3.5 miles
Turn/bear left onto 155 North to Dover
Travel 6 miles to the light, go straight through (middle lane) follow Route 9 East for .4 miles
There are signs for Routes 4 / 9 / 108
This brings you to Silver Street in Dover
Go Straight through 2 lights, turn left at the 3rd light onto Central Ave
Bear right at next light and continue on this ONE WAY street around a 90 degree bend
    uphill to the left
Go up the hill past Smiley's Beverage Store, staying in the right lane
Bear right onto Route 4/Portland Ave about 100 feet past Smiley's
The Inn is the third building on the right
Take the driveway between the brick posts directly after the optometrist and
    before the Inn.
Go in the back door- there is a sign that says "office", the office is at the top of the stairs.
